** Note: Sada-E-Aman is a monthly E-Journal published by the Kashmir-HR.net, a project of the Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC). Sada-E-Aman intends to bring articles relating to the human rights problems faced by the people of Kashmir. The views expressed in the articles published in this e-journal are of the individual authors only.
AHRC's concern for Kashmir is the people and not any of the big powers. People deserve a just peace with which they can carry on their lives peacefully. Our concern is also the children of Kashmir; you have the right to grow up without the trauma of war. We do also have a special concern for women of Kashmir who have faced the worst aspects of life when society is torn apart. Children and women are also long term victims of enforced and involuntary disappearances.
AHRC believe in the tremendous capacity of honest sharing of views. We hope people will use the space in this e-journal to discuss what they internally feel about the situation and the future. This space is for those who can think also with their hearts.
Tears of Kashmiri people have been flooding. Will the international community respond to these floods? It must! May things take a more humane turn! May the people of Kashmir smile again!
