Sada-E-Aman is a bi-weekly E-Journal published by the Kashmir-HR.net, a project of the Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC). Sada-E-Aman intends to bring articles relating to the human rights problems faced by the people of Kashmir. The views expressed in the articles published in this e-journal are of the individual authors only.

AHRC believe in the tremendous capacity of honest sharing of views. We hope people will use the space in this e-journal to discuss what they internally feel about the situation and the future. This space is for those who can think also with their hearts.

Tears of Kashmiri people have been flooding. Will the international community respond these floods? It must! May things take a more humane turn! May the people of Kashmir smile again!

This is the 6th issue of Sada-E-Aman. This issue covers four major topics related to human rights violations and civil and political rights of Kashmiri people in both Indian and Pakistani occupied parts of the State of Jammu Kashmir.

The first article by Asian Human Rights Commission is a case study of disappearance in Indian occupied Kashmir. The person disappeared on Dec 18, 1993 and still his aged father is waiting for him to return back home. The second article is about the new Pandit generation ,who were forced to leave the vale of Kashmir in 1990, when the element of fundamentalism was injected in the secular society of Kashmir. In this article, the author narrates about the feelings of new Pandit generation towards their homeland Kashmir. Third article is about the civil society in the State of Jammu Kashmir and the humanitarian crisis that confronts tens of thousands of young widows and orphans in the violence-hit Valley. Fourth article covers the political analysis of the State of Jammu Kashmir and Indian subcontinent and the affects of ongoing militancy. It also covers future prospects of the sub-continent, if Kashmir issue be resolved peacefully by the involvement of democratic and progressive forces of the region and international community.
