Sada-E-Aman is a bi-weekly E-Journal published by the Kashmir-HR.net, a project of the Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC). Sada-E-Aman intends to bring articles relating to the human rights problems faced by the people of Kashmir. The views expressed in the articles published in this e-journal are of the individual authors only.

This is the 5th issue of Sada-E-Aman. This issue covers four major topics related to human rights violations in both Indian and Pakistani occupied parts of the State of Jammu Kashmir.

In Pakistani occupied area of Kashmir, Pakistani military government is going to extend Mangla Dam, which will eventually displace 90,000- 100,000 people. AHRC is deeply concerned with the Dam issue, as extension of the said dam without the wish of the local people is violation of human rights. The first article of Sada-E-Aman, volume 1, No.5 provides all the details about Mangla Dam and effect on the lives of Kashmiri people due to its proposed extension. The second article by Muzamil Jaleel is about the feelings and emotions of Kashmiri people in Indian held part in a poetic way. Third article covers a case of disappearance in Indian occupied Kashmir. The victim was arrested by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) in April 1990 and still he did not return home. Fourth and final article of this issue narrates the constitutional structure of Pakistani administrated Kashmir. On the basis of his analysis, the author claims that Pakistani administrated Kashmir or Azad (free) Kashmir is actually Pakistani Occupied Kashmir (POK).
